Mission
Where Love Grows mission is to end hunger for children & families as we make love grow. We accomplish this goal through our Family Dinner Nights & innovative Mobile Cooking Program. Proper nourishment should never be denied to children as nutrition strongly affects individual growth & development. To date weve served 49,000 meals thoughtfully served family style. The positive influence of our dinners has been recognized as a large contributor to increasing parental involvement at school events tripling since their introduction. After serving dinner for a year we were inspired to do more leading to the creation of our innovative Mobile Cooking Program. To date weve empowered 3,000 students during 9,000 hours of hands-on culinary lessons. Our program was recently recognized on the state level by the American Institute of Research as 1 of 4 impactful community school programs in FL. Our 5-minute highlight reel will be shared with state & national education leaders.
