THE OBJECTIVE OF CFA IS TO RAISE FUNDS FOR ANIMAL WELFARE PROJECTS, PRIMARILY BY THE HUMANE ANIMAL SOCIETY (HAS), A REGISTERED INDIAN CHARITABLE TRUST IN COIMBATORE, INDIA. HAS RESCUES AND REHABILITATES ANIMALS IN COIMBATORE, CONDUCTS ANIMAL BIRTH CONTROL AND ANTI-RABIES VACCINATION PROGRAMS AND CREATES AWARENESS OF THE COMPASSIONATE TREATMENT OF ANIMALS. CFA WILL ACTIVELY RAISE FUNDS FOR SPECIFIC PROJECTS THAT CATER TO THE WELFARE OF ANIMALS. EXAMPLES OF PROJECTS THAT WOULD BE CONSIDERED WILL BE: PROVIDING VACCINATIONS, RUNNING ADOPTION CAMPS, EDUCATING SCHOOL CHILDREN AND PET OWNERS, AND CONDUCTING ANIMAL BIRTH CONTROL PROGRAMS.
