Mission
BIMBAM, FORMERLY G-DCAST, IS A CALIFORNIA NONPROFIT NEW MEDIA COMPANY WHOSE GOAL IS TO RAISE BASIC JEWISH LITERACY, AND CREATE POSITIVE ATTITUDES ABOUT JEWISH VALUES AND BEHAVIORS. OUR MEDIA RESOURCES GIVE CHILDREN AND ADULTS MEANINGFUL JEWISH EXPERIENCES. We help parents of young children connect to Jewish wisdom as they make choices setting up new homes and raising Jewish kids with our animated video kids series, Shaboom! which engages young children in social-emotional learning through Jewish values. We help curious young adults see the relevance of Judaism in their everyday lives with our extensive Judaism 101 video series which gives young adults the tools they need to engage in practice around the holidays and answer basic Jewish questions. We help Jewish educators feel more confident in teaching Jewish texts and using new media in the classroom through our lesson plans and Tanach Describe the organizations mission or most significant activities.Mission: BimBam sparks connections
