Mission
Bay Area Rescue Keeshonden, Inc. (BARK) is an all-volunteer, non-profit Keeshond Rescue organization. We are a 501(c)(3) organization. 1. We rescue lost and abandoned Keeshonden from animal shelters and from people who are unable or unwilling to care for them.2. We foster the dogs in the homes of volunteers, who provide the dogs with food, shelter, grooming, attention, and other care needed for their well being.3. We have all rescue dogs examined by a veterinarian, spayed or neutered, immunized, and tested for heartworms. We provide treatment for known illnesses or medical problems on a case by case basis.4. We work with potential adoptive families to find each dog the right forever home.
