Mission

The mission of the Genesee County Historical Society is to preserve promote and document the rich history of Genesee County. As a part of this GCHS is dedicated to educating the public and sharing the stories of historical events places and figures originating in Genesee County. In addition to providing program and publications to the public GCHS owns and maintains the iconic arches on Saginaw Street.
