Mission
The purpose of the Utah Airport Operators Association is to serve the interests of the owners and operators of all public-use airports within the State of Utah. Those interests shall be served by: A. Providing a unified voice for airport operators within the State to commercial enterprises, State and Federal agencies, the State Legislature, and the United States Congress on proposed or pending legislation which affects airports or aviation. B. Providing a medium for the exchange of ideas, methods, information and experience between airport operators relative to airport operations. Also, providing advisory assistance and problem solving through the distribution of educational material. C. Enhancing public understanding of the value of aviation and airports to communities. D. Cooperating with all governmental agencies and their organizations for the betterment of aviation. E. Promoting safety in the development of airport facilities and operating procedures.
