Mission
The Liberian Association of Michigan LAM was formed to promote the educational cultural social and economic well-being of Liberians and underserved communities. The organization exists to preserve and celebrate Liberian culture and heritage while providing community-based programs and resources that support health education youth development civic engagement humanitarian assistance and economic empowerment. LAM carries out its exempt purpose through cultural programming educational initiatives charitable outreach community partnerships health and wellness activities food access programs entrepreneurship support and services that strengthen families and improve quality of life within the communities it serves.
