Mission
Texans Against Gerrymandering is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization organized and operated exclusively for charitable, educational, and civic purposes under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The organization's primary exempt purpose is to educate the public about the impact of partisan gerrymandering on representative democracy in Texas and to advocate for fair, transparent, and impartial redistricting processes. Through public forums, community outreach, nonpartisan research, educational publications, and voter engagement initiatives, the organization seeks to promote awareness and understanding of redistricting practices, empower citizens to participate in the democratic process, and encourage reforms that ensure electoral maps reflect the true will of the people.
