Mission
Chicago Jobs Council (CJC) pursues its mission through advocacy, applied research, public education and capacity-building initiatives focused on influencing the development or reform of public policies and programs. From 18 original members, CJC has grown to include nearly 100 community-based organizations, civic groups, businesses and individuals. CJC and its members are committed to helping INDIVIDUALS THAT FACE BARRIERS TO EMPLOYMENT gain the education and training they need to enter the labor market, retain family supporting employment, and pursue sustainable careers.
