THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS REPRESENTS REALTORS AND NAR'S INSTITUTES, SOCIETIES, AND COUNCILS INVOLVED IN ALL ASPECTS OF THE RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE INDUSTRIES. OUR MEMBERSHIP IS COMPOSED OF RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL BROKERS, SALESPEOPLE, PROPERTY MANAGERS, APPRAISERS, COUNSELORS, AND OTHERS ENGAGED IN THE REAL ESTATE INDUSTRY. MEMBERS BELONG TO ONE OR MORE LOCAL ASSOCIATIONS/BOARDS AND STATE AND TERRITORY ASSOCIATIONS OF REALTORS. NAR EMPOWERS REALTORS BY HELPING THEM THRIVE IN THEIR BUSINESSES. IT ACHIEVES THIS GOAL BY ADVOCATING ON THEIR BEHALF, PROVIDING MARKET INTELLIGENCE AND RESEARCH TOOLS, OFFERING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND EDUCATION, MAINTAINING HIGH STANDARDS, MITIGATING LEGAL RISK, AND ELEVATING THE REALTOR BRAND. BY SUPPORTING REALTORS, NAR PROTECTS AND ADVANCES THE RIGHT OF AMERICANS TO OWN REAL ESTATE.
