Mission
Alaska Maritime Prevention & Response Network (AK-MPRN) is a non-profit organization established in 2011 to develop and offer the services needed for vessels operating in Western Alaska and Prince William Sound to comply with 33 CFR Part 155. AK-MPRN serves to assist vessel owners and operators be in compliance with U.S. oil pollution prevention regulations and protect mariners and the Alaska marine environment. It takes more than logistics to carry out this mission it takes an incredible team all pointed in the right direction. Guided by our core values of respect, integrity, stewardship, and excellence, the Network provides exceptional service while providing a safe and efficient Alternative Planning Criteria provider.
