Project Title: "Saving Lives: A Community Approach to Opioid Overdose Prevention" Description: Heart & Soul CPR is committed to addressing the opioid crisis in our community by integrating opioid overdose response training into all our educational programs. Recognizing that opioid emergencies can occur in various contexts, we have expanded our curriculum to include specialized training across all courses, including CPR, First Aid, Basic Life Support, Mental Health First Aid, and even our Babysitter and Child Safety courses.

Project Title: "Homer Youth Support Project"Description: MUSKEG Wellness is partnering with several local agencies to expand the positive impact of youth supporting each other in Homer. The goal of this project is that Homer youth who are at risk of addiction, or in recovery from addiction, due to being un-housed, unstably housed, or in a difficult home life, will experience more emotional health, hope, empowerment and self-care, as well as pick up more community or civic responsibilities, due to the training and mentoring received over the course of this project.

Project Title: "Overdose Prevention Project: Anchorage"Description: We are request $15,000 in funds to support our harm reduction programming in Anchorage. This programming provides 1:1 harm reduction counseling, support, and sterile supplies to PWUD in Anchorage. Our team focuses on overdose education, providing extensive opportunities for participants to share information on how they are engaging in their use so that we can provide accurate and life-saving information on how to reduce their risk of overdose. This project distributes naloxone to all participants along with accurate information and education on administration.

Project Title: "Anchorage Recovery Center Mobile Crisis Unit"Description: The Crisis Unit will work with local partners to engage community members who are in crisis and help them connect with treatment centers, peer support, clinicians, and case managers in a coordinated effort to offer a full team for their recovery. The individual would be able to be assessed and enter treatment quickly eliminating the delay and working with the momentum the individual is feeling in that moment. They will also be able to move through the continuum of care to include housing when this section of the program is up and running.

Project Title: "Enhancing Neuropsychological Assessment to Prevent Future OUDs"Description: The proposed project aims to address opioid-related concerns across the Southcentral Alaska region by identifying individuals, particularly youth, who present with neurodevelopmental concerns such as autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, or learning disabilities, many of whom may develop substance use disorders later in life if they are not identified and supported.
