THE PURPOSE OF THE EASTERN EDUCATIONAL RESEARCH ASSOCIATION (EERA) IS TO ENCOURAGE THE GROWTH AND IMPROVEMENT OF EDUCATIONAL RESEARCH AND TO THIS END IMPROVE THE OVERALL QUALITY OF THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS BEING UTILIZED IN THE EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS IN THE UNITED STATES. THE EERA'S PURPOSE IS ENHANCED BY PROMOTING QUALITY EDUCATIONAL RESEARCH AND PROVIDING A FORUM FOR ITS DISSEMINATION, BOTH THROUGH THE QUARTERLY JOURNALS OFFERED TO ITS MEMBERS AND THE ANNUAL CONFERENCE HELD SPECIFICALLY FOR EDUCATORS LOCATED ON THE EAST COAST OF THE UNITED STATES.
