Mission
Upstate Pride SC accomplishes its mission by empowering people of all gender expressions and sexual identities in the Upstate of South Carolina by promoting acceptance through education advocacy and networking They hold monthly social events an annual Pride festival and march in June They also partner with other LGBTQ organizations via sponsorship of events for youth and diverse members of the community We receive sponsorship grants through locally funded grant programs and funds donated by area companies who sponsor Upstate Pride SC to help the organization continue its efforts to obtain acceptance for all members of the community
