Mission
The main exempt purpose of Artisans4Hope is to offer complimentary textile art language and sewing classes to refugees in Boise Idaho. We teach artisans to craft handmade items such as clothing blankets bags and accessories aiding them in sales. Artisans earn a 60% commission. We have a modestly compensated Executive Director and one refugee overseeing quality control. A paid volunteer maintains sewing machines and oversees alterations. An attendant manages the sales shop and other duties.
