St Louis Pet Rescue is a non-profit rescue group focusing on saving pets from local animal control facilities abandonment and neglect situations STLPR strives to end pet overpopulation and abandonment of unwanted pets through education about spayneuter pet behavior and training and other aspects of responsible pet ownership All of the pets STLPR rescues are in loving foster homes Foster homes provide love care and training needs of the pets STLPR does not have a facility nor any paid staff STLPR relies on the generosity of others to donate funds and volunteer their time to help pets in need
