Mission
An organization of women providing growth, leadership and development programs for women of color, scholarships to deserving high school students, annual donations to community outreach support organizations, a local youth club for boys and girls ages 6-17, partnership with local organizations for educational events, and operation of the Charlotte S. Rhone Cultural Center - formerly the Historic West Street Colored Library in New Bern built in 1947. Climbers Climb is an affiliate of the North Carolina Federation of Colored Women's and Youth Clubs and the National Association of Colored Women's Clubs, Inc.
