SC Black Prides primary exempt purpose is to uplift educate empower and support the Black LGBTQ community throughout South Carolina through culturally affirming programs health and wellness initiatives community engagement advocacy social justice education youth and young adult empowerment and annual Pride events The organization works to create safe and inclusive spaces reduce stigma promote HIVSTI prevention and overall wellness connect individuals to resources celebrate Black LGBTQ culture and strengthen community visibility leadership and unity
