Impact Grant - Everglades Edudome Experience: Young Friends of the Everglades. The Everglades Edudome Experience will be the first immersive virtual tour of the Everglades delivered right to schools. Inside a portable dome students are surrounded by a breathtaking 360-degree film that brings to life the sights and sounds of the Everglades. Outside the dome professional educators guide students to explore authentic animal artifacts and travel atop an enormous map of Florida that illustrates Martin Countys connection to the Greater Everglades ecosystem. The Edudome will be shared at community events and with local nonprofits to ensure a far-reaching impact in Martin County.
