LEADERSHIP YORK'S MISSION IS TO TRAIN, CONNECT AND INSPIRE INDIVIDUALS TO SERVE THE YORK COMMUNITY IN LEADERSHIP POSITIONS. LEADERSHIP YORK HAS BEEN DEVELOPING COMMUNITY LEADERS SINCE 1978. COMPREHENSIVE TRAINING IS PROVIDED TO ADULTS AND TEENAGERS WHO WANT TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE. GRADUATES DISPLAY ENHANCED LEADERSHIP SKILLS UNDERPINNED BY A BROAD AWARENESS OF THE COMMUNITY'S STRENGTH'S AND WEAKNESSES. LEADERSHIP YORK IS A STRONG NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION WITH A PROVEN TRACK RECORD AND A CONTINUING NEED FOR ITS SERVICES. LEADERSHIP YORK PROGRAMS NOT ONLY BENEFIT THE COURSE PARTICIPANTS (4,669 GRADUATES TO DATE), BUT STRENGTHEN THE 250+ NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS WHERE GRADUATES SERVE ON THEIR BOARDS AND COMMITTEES, ENABLING THESE ORGANIZATIONS TO PROVIDE HIGH QUALITY VALUABLE SERVICES THAT MEET COMMUNITY NEEDS.
