Mission
Be Available is organized exclusively for charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Its primary exempt purpose is to relieve poverty, housing instability, and human suffering by providing transitional housing, material support, and connection to services for individuals and families experiencing homelessness or housing crisis. Be Available operates from a community-based "help people, help people" model that mobilizes resources to meet basic human needs, restore stability, and build pathways out of crisis. The organization carries out its purpose through direct program delivery, partnership with established public charities serving the same charitable class, and development of technology infrastructure that connects people who need help with people who can provide it.
