THE MIART FOUNDATION IS DEDICATED TO THE ARTISTIC DEVELOPMENT OF MIAMI, THE GATEWAY TO THE CARIBBEAN AND LATIN AMERICAN, VIA COMMUNITY OUTREACH. THE MAIN PROGRAMS OF THE MIART FOUNDATION ARE A SPECIAL EXHIBITIONS PROGRAM, PROFESSIONAL TRAINING FOR ARTISTS, A RESEARCH FACILITY AND LECTURES ON CARIBBEAN ART, DIGITAL COMMUNICATIONS, AND COLLABORATION WITH OTHER ORGANIZATIONS TO CREATE A DIALOG AMONG MIAMI'S DIVERSE ARTISTIC COMMUNITY, INCLUSIVE OF ENVIRONMENTAL AND HUMANITARIAN AWARENESS THROUGH ART.
