Mission
Sojourner Development Corporation is a not-for-profit organization, involved in the development and establishment of permanent housing for women and children in Rochester, New York. The primary goal is to make available affordable housing in an environment that will promote the improvement of the economic, social and independent status of women. The women and children stay in a facility owned by the Organization and are provided supportive services in educational, civic, and social areas. The Organization obtains its support directly from individuals and government agencies in the community.
