THE PURPOSE OF THE FOUNDATION IS TO ENCOURAGE AND ADVANCE THE PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE AND APPRECIATION OF THEATRE, MUSIC, OPERA AND DANCE AT THE PURCHASE COLLEGE PERFORMING ARTS CENTER, AND TO DEVELOP EXCELLENCE IN THE PERFORMING ARTS BY SUPPORTING PROFESSIONAL ARTISTS AND STUDENTS IN THE CREATION AND STUDY OF NEW WORKS IN AN ARTISTIC ATMOSPHERE UTILIZING FIRST-RATE PERFORMING FACILITIES.
