THE ASSOCIATION SEEKS TO PROMOTE THE IDEALS OF AMERICAN CITIZENSHIP AND JUDAISM BY DEVELOPING AND CONDUCTING A COMPREHENSIVE PROGRAM OF GUIDED LEISURE-TIME ACTIVITIES , UTILIZING THE SKILLS AND METHODS OF GROUP WORK, INFORMAL EDUCATION AND RECREATION AIMED AT HELPING INDIVIDUALS TO ACHIEVE AN AFFIRMATIVE IDENTIFICATION WITH JEWISH LIFE AND A DEEP APPRECIATION OF THEIR RESPONSIBILITIES AS CITIZENS OF THE UNITED STATES. THE ASSOCIATION SEEKS ALSO TO GIVE ASSISTANCE TO THE NEEDY & TO OFFER HELP TO THOSE IN DISTRESS OF ANY RACE, CREED OR COLOR, AND TO COOPERATE WITH OTHER ASSOCIATIONS NOW TO HEREAFTER TO BE FORMED WITH LIKE PURPOSES.
