Mission
The American Legion Post 694 Northport's primary exempt purpose is promoting the social welfare in the Northport/East Northport community. It also assists disabled and needy war veterans and members of the United States of America Armed Forces and their dependents and the widows of deceased members. The American Legion Post 694 also has sponsored the 10-K track race, the annual Cow Harbor Parade in the Fall, the Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day memorial services in the Winter, and the Memorial Day festivities in the Spring for its community residents.
