Mission
Founded as an undergraduate organization in 1994 the Yale Undergraduate Mock Trial Association is one of the top college Mock Trial teams in America We won the National Championship in 2016 and in 2015 2017 2018 2019 and 2021 placed 1st in our division at Nationals and 2nd overall in the country In 2024 Yale placed 6th in its division The members who comprise the program have won hundreds of awards and have been recognized as All-American attorneys and witnesses The entirely student-run association splits up into three teams of six to ten people each season Throughout the year these teams compete at different tournaments across the country All money that is made through fundraising is used only to support the competitive pursuits of the organization
