Mission
In 2023 a group of Harrington citizens got together and decided to revitalize the Gallison Memorial Library. Today we have a wonderful group of volunteers and have hired on a library director to staff the library during the week and organize community events. We send out an annual letter of giving to the citizens of Harrington who have been very generous and the town itself has voted to support the library financially since we took over. We have rejoined the Maine State Library Association and continue to expand our librarys offerings to the general public.
