Mission
Mission The mission of Dogs Deserve Better Piedmont is to improve the lives of tethered or neglected dogs We strive to accomplish this through installing large covered kennels or fences to unchain the dogs We encourage indoor time educate communities on animal welfare and care promote and facilitate spay and neuter provide urgent veterinary care and provide needed care and supplies in underserved communities We work to ensure the lives of the outdoor dogs are just a bit better any way we can What We Do When we meet dogs we assess their needs and do whatever we can to help We untether dogs encourage families to bring them inside and spend quality time with them We emphasize the importance of spaying and neutering and strongly recommend it If pets are sick or injured we step in to prevent their suffering even arranging vet appointments and assisting with costs when we can
