Mission
Friends of Asilong supports a marginalized community in a primitive area of Kenya that suffers from the lack of education, health services, clean water, food, and sanitation infrastructure. A missionary church is having a major impact in the community, but lacks the financial capability for projects such as schools, clinics and basic infrastructure development and maintenance. The long-term goal is for Asilong's improvements to be self-sustaining through increased knowledge and experience. Financial and relational support is for training, counseling and encouragement. The Corporation will: 1) Support the development of a high school by constructing facilities, subsidizing operational cost, providing tuition support/scholarships, and managerial advice. 2) Support the community in adult education, cross cultural exchange and developmentasl meetings to address issues such as, health, hygiene, water, peace, and nutrition. 3) Establish special funds to help accomplish these purposes
