We are proud to represent the finest hunting and fishing professionals in the state of New Mexico Established in 1978 NMCOG strives to promote and enhance the outdoor recreation industry by supporting ethical hunting practices and wildlife conservation NMCOG serves the outfitting industry by providing continuous and dependable representation in state and federal government as well as with agencies such as the NMDGF USFS BLM and State Land Office We attend every Game Commission Meeting and we provide a full-time lobbyist at each NM State Legislative Session Additionally NMCOG is an affiliate of the national organization Professional Outfitters and Guides of America POGA Through POGA we keep our members up to date on national and international issues that could potentially have an impact on our local industry NMCOG provides quarterly newsletters and regular emails to keep our members current on matters important to their livelihood
