As an education innovation nonprofit Code.org is dedicated to ensuring that every student in every school has the opportunity to learn computer science as part of their core K-12 education. They focus on expanding access to computer science with a special emphasis on increasing participation by young women and students from other underrepresented groups. Their work includes providing K-12 computer science curriculum in large school districts organizing the annual Hour of Code campaign and inspiring millions of students worldwide to engage with computer science.

Girlstart's mission is to empower girls through STEM. We envision a future where all who identify as girls believe they can change their world through STEM. We are a national women-led organization offering year-round out-of-school STEM science technology engineering and math programming for girls in grades 4-8 in Texas California Massachusetts and other locations across the country.
